Non-profit organization which provides a "clearing house" for questions, complaints, and recommendations concerning employment services available to veterans at the local level. Promotes the importance and advantages of hiring, training, and re-training qualified veterans. In addition, each May the committee works with the California Employment Development Department to help celebrate the annual statewide "Veterans Appreciation Month," and "Hire-A-Veteran Week."
