The Carmel Classic Guitar Society promotes the classical guitar through education, recitals and gatherings. Activities include teaching musical concepts to school-children and performing in hospices, convalescent homes and hospitals. Several times each year we have "mixers", casual gatherings where classical guitar performers and fans enjoy playing, listening to and talking about the classical guitar repertoire. These mixers are free and open to members and other classical guitar enthusiasts. We also have an online journal with articles and music pertaining to the guitar.
