ABERT'S TOWHEE Pipilo aberti
15 Feb 2003 near Niland IMP
The ABERT'S TOWHEE is a local resident of mesquite undergrowth along the Colorado River and in the Salton Sea Basin. Populations are resident. Birds can be quite difficult to see and are generally shy. I've only seen resident birds so none are especially listed.
